Amazon Product Research Tool That Gives You a Verdict

Type a keyword. AmzOperator analyzes the top Amazon results and returns a market score from 0 to 100 and a verdict — Promising, Mixed, or Difficult market — with the numbers behind the answer.

Research a product

Stop reading spreadsheets. Get a decision.

Classic product research means pulling numbers into a spreadsheet and deciding on your own what they mean. Is 800 average reviews too many? Is this price range profitable? AmzOperator runs that analysis for you. It reads the top Amazon results for your keyword, scores demand and competition, and returns one market verdict you can act on.

What the niche report includes

MetricWhat it tells you
Market Score0 to 100, from Amazon data only: half demand, half competition (lower competition scores higher)
Market VerdictPromising market, Mixed market, or Difficult market — or Insufficient data when too few listings have the numbers needed
Market DemandThe typical "bought in past month" figure of the listings, on a 0 to 100 scale; a lower bound, because Amazon shows ranges such as "1K+"
Competition Score and LevelPressure from ratings counts, sponsored listings, and the share of listings with more than 100 ratings
Data CoverageHow many of the analyzed listings show a sales label and a ratings count
Avg Monthly SalesThe average "bought in past month" estimate across the analyzed listings; listings without the label count as zero, so it understates demand
Avg PriceThe price level buyers already accept
Avg ReviewsHow much social proof the current sellers have, from listings that show a ratings count
Market SizeThe total of the monthly sales estimates across the analyzed listings
Review Barrier and Entry DifficultyHow hard it is to catch up on reviews and to enter the niche, in the report
Launch Economics and Supplier DataShown as "Not calculated — supplier data unavailable" unless real supplier data is available

The best product candidates, not just averages

A niche average hides the listings worth copying. Alongside the scores, AmzOperator ranks the individual products and highlights the strongest candidates: Top Overall, Best Low-Review, Best High-Demand, and Best Balanced. For each one you see price, reviews, rating, the "bought in past month" estimate, ASIN, and a link to the listing.

Each candidate also gets a "Search on Alibaba" link that opens an Alibaba search for you to browse suppliers yourself. Supplier figures and launch economics are not calculated from it.

How the verdict is calculated

The verdict is rule-based, so the same data always produces the same answer. Demand comes from the "bought in past month" labels of the listings. Competition combines the average ratings count, the share of sponsored listings, and the share of listings with more than 100 ratings. The market score is half demand and half the inverse of competition: 65 or more is a Promising market, 40 to 64 a Mixed market, and below 40 a Difficult market.

If fewer than half of the listings show a sales label or a ratings count, there is no score: the verdict is Insufficient data, with the reason. The verdict uses Amazon data only; it does not include supplier cost, fees, or shipping. You can see every input, so you can disagree with the verdict when you know something the data does not.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from other Amazon product research tools?

Most tools show data and filters and leave the conclusion to you. AmzOperator returns a market verdict with the scores that produced it, plus a shortlist of specific products.

How accurate are the sales estimates?

They are estimates built from the "bought in past month" label Amazon shows on search results. Amazon shows ranges such as "1K+", so the figures are lower bounds. The market score leaves listings without the label out; the niche averages count them as zero. Use them to compare niches against each other, not as exact sales figures.

Can I export the report?

Yes. The report is saved to a Google Sheet when one is available, and it can also be downloaded as an xlsx file with the niche metrics and the product candidates.

Does a Promising market verdict mean I should launch?

It means demand and competition look favourable in Amazon data. Supplier cost, shipping, fees, and compliance are not part of the verdict, so verify them for your specific product before ordering.
